DHA holds a benchmark status in housing projects all over Pakistan with its phases in Lahore setting the standard for subsequent housing societies. It is well known for its excellent management and adherence to bylaws.

- Entry to society is permitted for outsiders.
- Society is still under development with many facilities such as public parks still being constructed.
- One public park has been made ready for use by residents.

Population:
Approximately 100% society is developed (estimated by GEP based on market research). Nearby well-developed societies include Askari-XI, Ashiana Housing Society and DHA Phase-9 (Prism).
Approach Road:
DHA Phase-9 (Prism) can be accessed through Bedian Road and through Lahore Ring Road.
Surroundings:
DHA Phase-9 (Town), Askari-XI and Ashiana Housing Scheme are nearby DHA Phase-9 (Prism).
Area Livability:

For now, the society lacks civic amenities as it is still in the development phase. It will soon be developed further.
Infrastructure has been laid down and is being maintained with further work in progress.
A park has been constructed for residents to enjoy some recreation while further work is in progress.
Other phases of DHA are close by with Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute (PKLI) just 8 km away in DHA Phase-6 and Integrated Medical Center (IMC) in DHA Phase-5. Shopping facilities are also available in nearby phases of DHA such as Dolmen Mall in nearby DHA Phase-6.
DHA Phase-9 (Town) is some 5 km from a Ring Road interchange and is some 15 km from Allama Iqbal Airport and is some 10 km from DHA Phase-1.

Opinion:

DHA Phase-9 (Town) is a developing society which is currently being developed by the DHA authorities. Though lacking in amenities at the moment, it is likely to become a well-equipped and well-developed society in the near future, catering to upper class and upper-middle class socioeconomic groups if other DHA Phases are to be judged.
