Defence Housing Authority   DHA holds a benchmark status in housing projects all over Pakistan with its phases in Lahore setting the standard for subsequent housing societies. It is well known for its excellent management and adherence to bylaws.

Approximately 100% society is developed (estimated by GEP based on market research). Nearby well-developed societies include other phases of DHA such as DHA Phase-1 and Phase-5 and Phase-4. There are other societies too like Sui Gas Society Phase-1 and Askari XI close by. Well-settled and well developed.

DHA can be entered through two main roads: Ghazi Road which is an important traffic artery that connects Ferozepur Road to Ring Road, and Walton Road which connects Ferozepur Road to Lahore Cantt. DHA Phase-2 is also accessible through Bedian Road. Other than these, DHA Phase-2 can easily be accessed through connecting roads from DHA Phase-1 and DHA Phase-5.

DHA Phase-1 and Phase-4 and Phase-5 are right next door and other phases of DHA are a short 10–15-minute drive away. Lahore Cantt. is also easily accessible through a brief 10–15-minute drive. Other societies like Sui Gas Society Phase-1 and Askari XI are also present close by.

: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is located close by in DHA Phase-5. Other universities are also present nearby and Ferozepur Road which is a 10–15-minute drive away also has many university campuses.
DHA Phase-2 has does not have many schools and none are particularly famous. But it is connected to DHA Phase-1 where several decent schools such as Lahore Alma are present.
For recreation, DHA Phase-2 has multiple parks. Nearby DHA phases also have many parks with famous Sheeba Park located in DHA Phase-3. DHA cinema is present in DHA Phase-2 for moviegoers. DHA in general has a vibrant nightlife. Several clubs, snooker houses, playing grounds and gyms are available for residents in DHA Phase-2 alone with additional options available in other DHA phases as well.
DHA Phase-2 has many famous shopping chains and restaurant chains. Avenue Mall is located on nearby Ghazi Road and ENEM Mall is located nearby also. Nearby other phases of DHA also have many shopping chains and restaurants such as the famous Y-block market in DHA Phase-3 and the famous H-Block market in DHA Phase-1. Packages Mall, a famous mall of Lahore is only a 10–15-minute drive away.
DHA Phase-2 has some clinics and Heath Bridge Hospital is located in society. Nearby phases of DHA host additional health facilities as well such as the National Hospital in DHA Phase-1 and Integrated Medical Center in DHA Phase-5.
DHA Phase-2 has branches from nearly all major banks including Kasb Bank, Samba Bank, JS Bank and Allied Bank just to name a few.
DHA Phase-2 is right next to Ring Road at approx. 2-3 km distance, approx. 6-7 km from Allama Iqbal International Airport (around 10-minute drive), around 7-8 km from Lahore Cantt. (10–15-minute drive) and some 8-10 km from Packages Mall (10–15-minute drive).

DHA Phase-2 is a well-developed society with some of the best facilities and amenities in the city. It primarily caters to upper class and upper-middle class socioeconomic groups.
