LDA successfully auctions Rs. 3.55 billion worth properties

Indicating strong investor interest, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) successfully sold around 42 properties during a single-day public auction, generating a total revenue of Rs. 3.55 billion, a record high for the authority.
The largest successful bid was for a plot located in Gulberg V along Jail Road, which sold for Rs 1.88 billion, accounting for 53% of the total proceeds from the auction.
Indicating strong investor sentiment for commercial properties, commercial plots from Johar Town, Jubilee Town, Mustafa Town, Tajpura and Sabzazar attracted bids ranging from Rs. 5 million to Rs. 37 million in the auction.
