National Police Foundation scheme taken to court

June 2026  |  Reading Time: 3 Min

The National Police Foundation (NPF) scheme, which allotted plots in Islamabad’ E-11 sector, is under fire once more, as various overseas investors have file petitions in court for cancellation of their allotments by society.

The NPF scheme, which allotted plots in Islamabad’s high value E-11 sector, was already under scrutiny due to massive financial embezzlement and unlawful cancellation of plots. NPF officials were found to be in collusion with the developer Anjum Aqeel Khan to allot hundreds of plots to non-entitled individuals at rates well below the market.

When this corruption was exposed, the Supreme Court of Pakistan took suo motu notice of it and ordered the cancellation of hundreds of plots. Furthermore, it directed the matter to National Bureau of Accountability (NAB) for recovery of public wealth.

Now, 2 overseas Pakistanis have filed claims in court alleging that the plots they had already paid for were cancelled by the scheme and then sold to serving officers of the police in Islamabad at heavily subsidized rates. The plots are of high value, with one plot being valued at Rs. 110 million according to market rates. This plot was sold to the serving officer at Rs. 1.5 million.
