LAHORE: In a significant development concerning the Khayaban-e-Amin Housing Society scandal involving a whopping nine billion rupees, an accountability court has ordered the judicial custody of two owners of the housing scheme until the next hearing of the case.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore team apprehended Allah Dutta Hira and Sahir Rashid, the society owners, and presented them before the accountability court.According to sources, the NAB team carried out the necessary procedures during the arrest of the accused individuals. The accountability judge, Rao Abdul Jabbar Khan, instructed the Superintendent of Camp Jail Lahore to take custody of the two accused and produce them in court on June 17.
